The constant pressure variable pump is composed of a plunger pump, a variable cylinder and a pressure regulator.

Before the constant pressure pump reaches the set pressure of the regulator valve on the pump, the variable pump swash plate is at the maximum deflection Angle, and the pump displacement is maximum and constant. In fact, the constant pressure variable pump is quite a quantitative pump at this stage.

After reaching the set pressure of the regulator, the control oil enters the variable cylinder, and the variable cylinder pushes the swash plate to reduce the pump displacement.

In the constant pressure variable pump system, if there is an relief valve, the set pressure of the pressure regulator on the pump is less than the set pressure of the system relief valve 0.5-1Mpa. Otherwise, the pump pressure cannot reach the setting value of the pressure regulator, and it cannot be variable.
